How Bardeen Works

Install the Bardeen Chrome extension and it lives in your browser toolbar. Playbooks are pre-built or custom automations that perform multi-step browser tasks. Click a playbook and watch Bardeen navigate websites, extract information, and perform actions automatically. For example: "Save this LinkedIn profile to my Google Sheet with name, title, company, and AI-generated summary" or "When I star an email in Gmail, create a task in Notion with the email subject and an AI-generated priority level." Bardeen runs these automations locally in your browser, which means it can interact with any website you are logged into — no API integration needed.

AI Actions within playbooks use GPT-4 to process extracted data intelligently. Scrape a product review page and have AI summarize the sentiment.
